Heiko Bandasch

Heiko is an expert sound engineer, composer, and music producer based in Berlin. Born in 1974 in Koblenz, Germany, he developed a passion for music early on, starting with piano lessons and later expanding his skills with synthesizers, sequencers, and sound engineering.
In 1994, Heiko began studying communication science, focusing on sound engineering, psychoacoustics, and surround sound. Alongside his studies, he built his own studio and took on music production assignments with DJs and producers connected to Berlin’s dynamic club scene.
By the time he completed his degree in 2002, Heiko had already gained significant experience, having worked with clients such as Chillifunk Records UK, Liquid Sound Lounge US, ROI Records/Universal Music Germany, and Flamingo Discos Spain. Over the years, he has collaborated with high-profile artists like Shaggy, Chaka Khan, Kim Sanders, Bro’Sis, and Warren Suicide.
At Minardi Studio, Heiko shares his extensive knowledge and expertise as a music production instructor, guiding students through the technical and creative aspects of sound engineering and music production. His teaching focuses on helping students develop the skills necessary to succeed in the music industry, combining his passion for composition with his real-world experience as a producer.
